We'll be open 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Tuesday - Sunday in June until the blueberries stop producing (usually the 3rd week of June). You can call or text us at 985-422-0880 to check on the status of the harvest.

Big Branch Apiary Five Year Anniversary! May 22, 2026 We incorporated in February 2020 but purchased our lovely farm on May 22nd, 2020 which felt like the true 'beginning' of our adventure.
🕯Time to add light to the hen house to encourage the hens to lay through winter. September 1, 2026 How Much Light Do Chickens Need To Keep Laying? According to https://www.ecopeanut.com hens need at least 12 hours of daylight per day to lay eggs, whereas 14 to 16 hours of sunlight per day will keep them performing at their full potential.
